What we collect
- Your email address, when you sign in, so we can send sign-in links and the alerts you ask for.
- Your saved searches and when we last emailed you about them.
- Whether you are a member, which we look up from our payment records by your email.
- For employers who post a role: the posting, your work email and the payment status.
- Anonymous usage events (a page was viewed, an apply link was clicked, a checkout started). They carry no name or email; visitors are counted with a daily hash of the network address and browser that cannot be reversed and changes every day.
What we never collect
Your clearance level, investigation details, résumé, or anything about your application. Apply links go straight to the employer, and we never see what you send them.
Who processes it
Cloudflare hosts the site and the database. Polar processes payments as merchant of record (it holds your card details, we do not). Resend delivers our emails. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that forms are used by people. Anthropic's API reads public job postings to tag them; no personal data is sent to it, except a question you send through the support form, which is answered from our help pages.
Cookies
One cookie keeps you signed in. No advertising or tracking cookies.
Keeping and deleting
Sign-in links expire after 30 minutes. Sessions end after 60 days. Ask through support and we delete your account, saved searches and alert history within 30 days; payment records stay with Polar as the law requires.
